Yes, it can be done through attendance policy General settings.
Navigation:
Time settings>>Policies>>Attendance Policy>>Late
in>>Additional Conditions

In additional conditions, we can set the same
conditions of late-in as early out
·
Then same late in conditions will be considered.
i.e., if early out deduction will be done from the leave balance or Loss of
pay.
·
If the leave balance is zero, the day's pay is
deducted.
