What is the process to promote an employee across the entity?

·        Based on employees’ seniority and merit, HR can promote the employees across the entity. This process is completed in 7 to 8 steps.

          Promotion & Transfers >> Promotions >> Initiate >> Across Entity >> Proceed >> Submit.

**The hiding fields in step selection are mandatory to fill in the process of employee promotion**.

Step 1: Basic Details

Same as case I

Step 2: Workplace Details

In this step, by clicking on actions, HR can change the workplace and designation of the employee.

·        Click on change workplace in the action field.

·        From the drop-down, select the entity to change.

·        Click on the functional unit to change the business unit and department of promotion.

Next, click on change designation/position in the action field. Then fill in the following fields to complete step 2.

Job: Multiple employees for a single position.

Position: Single employee for a single job.

Designation: Title that you have in the organization.

**At a time, HR can change all selected employees work places to the new identical work place with the change work place field**.

The remaining process is similar to case I.

**In this process, Step 5: Reporting Details is not mandatory. **

·        Process to View/Cancel the Promotion request

·        After submitting the promotion request, HR can cancel the request before approval by the approval chain.
