The Functional units generated in Organization master can be used across all organizations and can be linked under the level 2 of Organization Structure.
- Business Units: Steps to be followed to create new business units is as follows,
- Select Organization Masters -> Business Units -> + Add New
- Fill the details like Business Units Name, Business Units Code, and Description.
- Locations: Each entity of an organization may have various locations. Steps to be followed to create locations in an entity is as follows,
- Select Organization Masters -> Locations -> + Add New
- Fill the details like Location, Location Code, and Description.
- Departments: Various departments in an organization can be placed under each legal entity. Steps to be followed to create departments in an entity is as follows,
- Select Organization Masters -> Departments -> + Add New
- Fill the details like Department, Department Code, and Description.
- Divisions: Divisions are the sub-part of the other functional units mainly of departments or business units. Steps to be followed to create division in any department is as follows,
- Select Organization Masters -> Divisions -> + Add New
- Fill the details like Division, Division Code, and Description.
- Cost Centers: Cost centers are sub-part of functional units to which costs can be allocated, managed and these are which do not produce directly but incur costs to the business. Steps to be followed to create division in any department is as follows,
- Select Organization Masters -> Cost Centers -> + Add New
- Fill the details like Cost Centre, Cost Centre Code, and Description.
