Yes, provision is available in the software
In order to enable that, we have to follow the below path
Navigation:
Home>>Leave Settings>> Leave Types
Click on +Add New and then there will be option like carry forward balance based on
Accrual Cycle: If we choose accrual cycle then carry forward will happen based on the accrual type (Monthly, Quarterly, half yearly, yearly)
For example: If accrual is monthly and carry forward based on is, accrual cycle then every month leave balance carry forwarded to next month
Monthly Accrual – Jan -1, Feb -2 , Mar – 3 ……Dec -12
If employee didn’t use any of the leave balance
Then at the end of the year he will be having leave balance – 12
And carry forward will happen based on the conditions configured
Max balance to be carry forward and min balance to be used (how much balance did employee has to use inorder to carry forward max limit)
