If the reporting chain member did not respond within the specified period, what will happen?

If the reporting chain member did not respond within the specified period, what will happen?

If any or all the members in the reporting chain did not respond, the status will remain the same if the Deemed Approval / Rejection value is set to "None". After the preferred days, the leave can be ‘Approved/ Rejected’ based on the Deemed Approval / Rejection status value.

If the value is changed from None to a value, then based on the chosen action like Approve or Reject, the leave action will be changed and the leave will be approved or rejected. In this process, escalation option is also present. Notifications to the reporting chain members will be given automatically based on the settings and all the features are fully customizable in the Akrivia HCM for Leave Management.

Auto-Approved option can be suggestable as final chain member. (Example: After 5 days, no chain person responded, so it is auto approved/ auto-rejected).
