How to create Awards?

There are two types of awards:

1. Nomination Awards and,

2. Life Cycle Awards

    Creation of Nomination Awards:

Awards that require nominating the employees by the reporting managers (RM)/any role are nomination awards. The RM nominates the employees in the team for the award, and the HR shortlists the employees from the nominations received for the award. Then HR can decide the winner of the award, or it can be sent for approval, and this award is created as follows,

Home >> Rewards >> Create Awards >> + Add New.

Select the Organization for which the award is created.

Select the Entity of an Organization for which the award is created.

Functional Unit

Fabric Manufacturing Unit

Select the functional unit from the Organization Tree

Award Title

“Best Employee of the month”

Give a name of your choice.

Award Code

600

A unique code to identify the award created by the system.

Program has reward

Yes/No

Select whether any reward points will be gifted along with the award or not

Award Type

Nomination

Select the type of award.

Frequency

Quarterly

Select the period for which this award is to be given.

Start Date

21-10-2022

Enter the date from which we want to start awarding the award.

Award Description

--

Add a description to the award being created.

Greetings

--

Add a greeting to be conveyed along with the award.

Template

--

Select the template of the certificate created for this award in Letter settings (Please refer, to “Letters”)

Upload Logo/badge

--

Upload a badge or Logo in .jgp or .png format.

Max no. to be awarded by HR

Enter the no. of employees that can be awarded by HR during that period.

Max no. to be nominated by the nominator

Enter the no. of employees that can be nominated by the RM/any role to the award.

Max no. of times a nominator can nominate the same user

Enter the no. of times the same employee can be nominated by the nominator for the award in a year.

Select an approval chain from the drop-down (Please refer, to Approval Flow in HR foundation)

      After releasing an award, the HR can stop an award for any reason as follows, Rewards & Recog. >> Release Awards >> Select Award >> Update award >> Stop.
