Is there any provision to carry forward the leave balance based on the Leave cycle?

Yes, provision is available in the software

In order to enable that, we have to follow the below path

Navigation:

Home>>Leave Settings>> Leave Types

Click on +Add New and then there will be option like carry forward balance based on

Leave Cycle: If we choose Leave cycle then carry forward will happen based on the leave cycle (Calendar year or financial year).

For example: If accrual is monthly and carry forward based on is, leave cycle then leave balance will be carry forwarded based on the leave cycle (Calendar year or financial year).

Monthly Accrual (JAN) – 1

Carry forward (calendar year) – 12 to next year

If employee didn’t use any of the leave balance

Then at the end of the year he will be having leave balance – 12

And carry forward will happen based on the conditions configured

Max balance to be carry forward and min balance to be used (how much balance did employee has to use inorder to carry forward max limit)
